5/13/2026 -  House  Concurrent Resolution 201: 2026 marks the 75th year since the first fire district was established in Oregon.  The 2026 Oregon Legislature passed House Concurrent Resolution 201 to celebrate fire districts and the work that the Fire District Boards do to support the first responders in their districts.  State Representative, Anna Sharf who represents the 23rd District of Oregon where Spring Valley Fire District is located,  presented a framed copy of the Resolution to the Fire District Board at the May 2026 Board Meeting.   The framed resolution will be hung in the fire station for the public to see.  Read the entire resolution.
