Spring Valley operates with 8 pieces of apparatus from Station 160 on Zena Road in Lincoln.
A 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 SUV. This is our Incident Command vehicle for all responses. It carries basic medical supplies and limited fire fighting equipment. This truck came to Spring Valley in 2025 thanks to a generous donation from Yamhill Fire Protection District.
A 2007 Ford F550 4x4 Type 6 Brush truck. This is our first out response truck for medical emergencies, auto accidents and vegetation/brush fires. It carries medical supplies, fire fighting equipment, has a reel line and holds 300 gallons of water. This truck came to Spring Valley in 2025 to update some aging apparatus.
A 2008 KME Predator 1500 Type 1 Engine. This is our first out engine for structure fires and accidents. It carries medical supplies, fire fighting equipment and holds 500 gallons of water. This engine came to the district in 2025 thanks to a generous donation from the City of Salem Fire Department.
A 1984 Pierce Dash Type 1 Engine. This is our second out engine for structure fires. It carries medical supplies, fire fighting equipment and holds 1000 gallons of water.
1983 Ford F800 Type 1 Engine. This was our primary response engine for several years. It has been converted to a heavy brush truck. It holds 1200 gallons of water, has a front mounted pump with a front platform for firefighters to stand on when combating vegetation/field fires.
A 2002 Ford F550 4x4 Type 6 Brush truck. This is our second out response truck for medical emergencies, auto accidents and vegetation/brush fires. It carries medical supplies, fire fighting equipment, has a 200' booster line and holds 300 gallons of water.
A 2013 International water tanker. This is our first out tender and holds 3000 gallons of water and responds to structure and vegetation/brush fires providing water supply operations to other apparatuses. This truck was built and arrived at Spring Valley in 2025. Although the chassis is a 2013, the pump and tank unit was brand new when delivered.
A 1979 Ford L9000 water tanker. This is our second out tender and holds 3000 gallons of water, features a front pump unit and responds to structure and vegetation/brush fires providing water supply operations to other apparatuses.
Engine 115 / 167 A 1952 GMC 620 Pumper built by Howe Fire Apparatus Company. This was Spring Valley's first fire truck and provided first out service for our early years. The original engine number was 115 but was changed in later years to 167. This truck originally came from the City of Independence and Spring Valley is the second owner.
Engine 116 A 1954 Ford F800 Big Job fire engine. This was another original first out engine for Spring Valley. It formally came from the City of Salem where it was housed at Station 5. It was sold in the 90's and was recently discovered on a farm near West Salem.
